Students will work with their instructor to master strategies and techniques for every question type on the exam, while also learning dozens of vocabulary words that frequently appear on the test. They will also examine key grammatical concepts, memorize the math that needs to be memorized (percent to fraction equivalencies, number of pints in a gallon etc.), and begin internalizing, early on, the essential rules of the standardized-test-taking game. Each day will feature quizzes to check for deeper understanding, as well as live, worked-out examples, practice drills, and instruction customized to meet the needs of the individual students in the class (based on student results from the pre-tests).
