Eli Barraza is an astronomy enthusiast, working as a science communicator at the Griffith Observatory. She graduated early from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Film. Prior to that, she successfully completed the full International Baccalaureate program alongside AP classes in high school. She has worked with youth for over a decade in a variety of programs including mentoring student writers, performing science demonstrations, and even providing archery instruction! From academia to art to science to math, Eli has honed her skills to find the best way to connect to learners and deepen their understanding of material. Eli believes staying curious can help students move confidently in life! She is available for HSPT/ISEE prep, middle school and high school homework support/organizational skills, middle school and high school math tutoring, reading comprehension, and writing support via Zoom or in-person.
