Gabriel Moussaoui

Gabriel Moussaoui is finishing his M.S. in Applied Mathematics at California State University,
Long Beach in May 2026, and earned his B.A. in Pure Mathematics from the University of
California, Irvine in June 2020. He specializes in tutoring Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, pre-calculus, Calculus, and AP Calculus AB/AP Calculus BC. He has nearly a decade of experience working with students in tutoring and classroom support roles, and he enjoys helping students work through subjects that can feel intimidating at first.

He especially likes tutoring math because he knows how frustrating it can be when something
just does not click right away. He tries to break things down clearly, be patient, and meet
students where they are so they can build both understanding and confidence. His goal is not
just to help students get the right answer, but to help them feel more comfortable with the
process of learning and problem-solving.

Gabriel wants students to feel like they can ask questions freely and not be judged for what
they do or do not know. He believes that a good learning environment makes a big difference,
and he does his best to make sessions feel supportive, clear, and productive. He wants students to leave each session feeling more capable than they did before.

In his free time, Gabriel enjoys playing video games, listening to music, and spending time
exploring personal interests in technology, math, and creative projects. He likes activities that
help him unwind while still keeping his mind engaged, and he brings that same curiosity and
energy into the way he works with students. He is available via Zoom on weekdays and in-person on weekends.
