Athena tutors the HSPT, ISEE, SAT, and ACT. She specializes in math and sciences as well as middle school/high school subject support, reading fluency, building vocabulary, and standard English conventions. She has a bachelors in physics from the University of Chicago and a masters in secondary education-(physics and math) from DePaul University. Athena has taught at the high school and college level for four years and has tutored for over a decade. She follows a holistic approach, helping students not only gain the knowledge necessary to succeed with their short term goals but also the tools to succeed at all academic tasks. She is available in-person and remotely via Zoom.
